Corrections especially. If a warranty term has changed or a link is dead, that is genuinely useful to us.

One person reads this. There is no support desk, no ticket number and no phone line — this is a publisher run by one person, and pretending otherwise would be the same sort of thing as pretending to have a test lab.

What is most useful to send

  • A factual error. Wrong specification, wrong warranty term, wrong claim. Include the page and, if you have it, the source that shows the correct figure.
  • A changed warranty or parts listing. These are the inputs to every cost-per-decade figure on the site, and makers revise them without announcing it.
  • A discontinued product or a persistent stock-out. A recommendation you cannot act on needs replacing.
  • A broken link. Internal or outbound.

Corrections are made in place with a dated note — nothing gets quietly rewritten. The full policy is on the editorial policy page.

What we cannot help with

We are not a retailer and we hold no stock, so we cannot help with an order, a delivery, a return or a warranty claim. Those go to whoever sold you the tool. If Amazon sold it, their returns process is the fastest route; if the maker sold it direct, their customer service will know the tool far better than we do.

We also cannot tell you whether a specific tool will suit your specific project, because we have not handled it. What we can do is point you at what the manufacturer publishes about it, which is what every page here is made of.

No phone, no address

There is no phone number or street address on this site because there is no phone line and no premises. Publishing either to look established would be exactly the kind of thing the methodology page exists to rule out.
